New Jeep Wrangler Production in Toledo, OH

The Jeep Wrangler has been one of the most popular vehicles in the Jeep lineup in recent years, and thanks to Jeep's dedication to world-class craftsmanship, the manufacturer has had trouble keeping up with demand. With Wranglers selling out across the country, Jeep's parent company FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) has announced plans to expand production across the board.

Additional resources are being utilized at Jeep's Toledo, OH assembly plant in order to boost total Wrangler production capacity from 240,000 vehicles per year to 450,000 or more. The Toledo plant alone is expected to be responsible for around 350,000 units, and the remainder of production will focus on an all new Jeep Wrangler pickup model that's scheduled to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this year. The Toledo plant upgrades are projected to cost Jeep up to $700 million dollars, and will bring over 700 jobs to the Toledo area.
